making 3d content is insanely easy with designer. you simply draw an outline and the program generates a 3d object. draw more and the program blends the shapes together to make new shapes and forms. ith the use of symmetry you can make anything you dream of quickly and easily. when you take a listing or ad in metacrasher you get this tool immediately as well as the upgrade to metacrasher designer that will make this process even more precise and enjoyable for the virtual worlds. your peer 2peer spaces can look like this or they can be hyper realistic. the choice is yours.
the french sailor and the mermaids
the base models for this pic were generated in less than 15 mins. they were then exported to ZBrush for coloring and detailing. the whole process to make this 3d environment: 3 hours.
1.the french sailor is a series of drawings to make his shape
2. his cartoony legs and feet are drawn seperately to attach later
3. Designer is great for organic AND technical shapes. by adding a flat subtractor object the wine bottle can have a flat bottom as shown in 4
5. a picture of the sea is automatically picked up when we make the sea shape in a few quick drawings
6.the mermaid bodies were drawn out in the same fashion
7. to capture the feeling of the hair, many shapes are put together attacjhed to the head
8. making the sky was as simple as drawing a flat shap and stretching it out
